Midsummer Nights SCREAM is an interactive experience designed to be fun and spooky at the same time. You may feel under threat or unsafe during the experience which is the intention of the producers. You must follow all instructions given by the scareactors and production staff at all times. Interactivity is key to the experience, so you will get out of it what you put into it.

Terms & Conditions of Midsummer Nights SCREAM Participation

Midsummer Nights SCREAM may include total darkness, water spray and splash, uneven surfaces, steps up and down, strobe lighting, latex, narrow tunnels, crouch spaces which require you to bend down while walking, sudden loud noises, live scareactors, fog and scent effects.

Midsummer Nights SCREAM is physically demanding and players must be in general good health in order to participate.

You agree that you will not purchase a ticket to participate in Midsummer Nights SCREAM if:

  • You suffer from any know cardiac conditions including but not limited to previous heart attacks, previous heart surgery, including stenting and bypass surgery, endocarditis, tachycardia, valve problems, familial history of hypokalaemia or sudden cardiac mortality, have a pace maker or other pacing device fitted.
  • You have any skeletal problems including but not limited to current or recent bone fractures, brittle bone syndrome, any skeletal vertebral weakness disorder.
  • You have any muscular problems including but not limited to ligament or tendon treatment or surgery, recent physiotherapy, treatment for muscular disorders of any kind.
  • You are pregnant, undergoing gynaecological treatment, have had a vasectomy, abdominal or hernia surgery.
  • You are undergoing chemotherapy, radiotherapy, physiotherapy, cardiac therapy or any form of psychiatric treatment.
  • You have a history of seizures, have asthma, suffer from claustrophobia, have a photosensitive form of epilepsy, or are of a high nervous disposition. You are reliant on any emergency or time sensitive medication.

During Midsummer Nights SCREAM you may witness offensive language, the use of adult toys, extended displays of imitation bodily fluids, simulated urination and partial nudity. This content is part of the experience and is presented for entertainment purposes only. You will not be placed in real danger at any time.

You must be aged 18 or over to participate, and we will ask for proof of your age when you arrive.

At the beginning of the experience you will be issued with a safe word which you can use at any point during your experience to stop the activity you are experiencing. You must be confident that you can remember the safe word and recall it as necessary.

You must not touch properties, sets, effects and scareactors. The scareactors may touch you. You must not touch them back, they will not harm you.

Smoking, chewing gum, eating and drinking are forbidden during the experience.

During Midsummer Nights SCREAM you may come into contact with dairy, latex, dried insects and fluoride products. If you are intolerant or allergic to these, or any other substances, you must make this clear to the Senior Show Producer in the car park upon arrival.

Attempting to record any aspect of Midsummer Nights SCREAM is forbidden, this includes photography, video and audio recording via any device. If you attempt to make a recording of any kind you will be removed from the event without refund.

You must not bring anything of value onto the site. We will not be held liable for the loss of any item howsoever caused.

We advise you not to bring electrical equipment of any kind to Midsummer Nights SCREAM as this may be damaged by water effects.

Participation in Midsummer Nights SCREAM is an individual experience and not all players will have the same experience.

Head masks, fancy dress costumes and imitation weaponry of any kind are forbidden during Midsummer Nights SCREAM.

Semi and total darkness is utilised throughout the experience, therefore running is forbidden during Midsummer Nights SCREAM.

Once the experience begins, you will not be able to leave the site until the end.

Midsummer Nights SCREAM operates in all weather conditions, you must wear sensible clothing and footwear and be prepared for potentially wet conditions.

Naked flames of any kind are forbidden during Midsummer Nights SCREAM.

Players must not arrive earlier than 9.45pm and must wait with your car in the car park until you are collected. The experience lasts 4 hours, and will finish at 2.00am.

If you appear to be under the influence of alcohol when you arrive, we reserve the right to refuse admission to the event, and in this instance you will not be entitled to a refund. The decision whether or not to allow you to enter lies with the production team, whose decision will be governed by the security and safety of our scareactors and other players.

Smoking is allowed only in designated areas. You may not bring illegal substances of any kind into the site.

We reserve the right to refuse admission if your behaviour is perceived as threatening, or if we have any reason to believe you pose a threat to other players or our scareactors, in this instance we will issue a refund of your admission price by the method you originally paid, we will not refund booking fees or ticket delivery costs.

We will not be held liable for any accident or incident which occurs if you have failed to follow instructions given by the Midsummer Nights SCREAM production team, scareactors or security staff, or if you have failed to adhere to any of the terms and conditions given on the website at www.scarekingdom.com/midsummer as published on the day of your attendance.

Midsummer Nights SCREAM will endeavour to ensure that all advertised features are available. We may, however, without prior notice and without refund or compensation, cancel or suspend any feature due to inclement weather, to ensure safety, security or order, or if we consider that the circumstances so require.

Janus Productions are carrying out filming and photography for the purpose of security, monitoring quality and marketing. These recordings may feature players images or voices. By taking part in the event you irrevocably waive all rights in these recordings and agree that we may use them in perpetuity and without limitation in any promotional, advertising or publicity material in any format whatsoever without payment, notification or credit to you. You further agree that all copyright within these recordings lies solely with Janus Productions.

Once booked you cannot cancel, change or modify your ticket under any circumstances.

Midsummer Nights SCREAM reserves the right to cancel any advertised event if circumstances dictate that it is necessary to do so. In this event you will be notified by the email address used when you purchased your ticket, and you will receive a full refund via the method of your original payment. In the event of a cancellation we will refund your ticket price only, and will not be held liable for any other expenses.

Once you have booked a ticket, you must print and retain your receipt and bring this with you when you arrive at Midsummer Nights SCREAM, this is you proof of purchase. You will not receive a further email confirmation.

Midsummer Nights SCREAM is operated by Janus Productions Ltd. with whom your contract of booking is made.

Your ticket is a revocable license and may be revoked and admission refused upon refund of the full purchase price. The holder of the ticket understands that there is inherent risk involved in participating in Midsummer Nights SCREAM and the ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks and dangers associated with participation in the event. In consideration and acceptance of admission to Midsummer Nights SCREAM the ticket holder agrees to release the operator, it’s parent companies, affiliates, officers, directors and employees from any liability, harm, injury or death, cost or expense whatsoever that may arise directly or indirectly as a result of participating in Midsummer Nights SCREAM.

By purchasing a ticket for Midsummer Nights SCREAM you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Booking Confirmation

Once you have booked your tickets you will receive an email confirmation. If you do not receive an email confirmation please contact our ticket provider, Skiddle on 0843 289 3333. This telephone enquiry service is available Monday to Friday 9.00am to 6.00pm and Saturday 10.00am to 5.00pm only. Please note that we are unable to deal with booking enquiries through any other means.

When you arrive

Please check in at Guest Services during the time slot you have booked. Please bring your booking confirmation with you. A limited number of tickets are also available on the door for Halloween Season, Christmas FestEVIL, Valenterror and Walpurgis Night. Tickets are NOT available on the door for Midsummer Nights SCREAM or Sleep HELL.

Audience Batching

Guests enter the park in groups of up to 14 people at a time. If your party is large, you may be split up. We may increase or decrease the size of each group without notice.

Scare Kingdom Scream Park may include:

  • Total darkness
  • Water spray and splash
  • Uneven surfaces
  • Steps
  • Strobe lighting
  • Latex
  • Feathers
  • Theatrical fog
  • Crouch spaces
  • Offensive language
  • Potential muddy conditions, please dress appropriately

We advise you do not enter if:

  • You have photosensitive epilepsy
  • You are pregnant
  • You have a heart disorder
  • You have asthma

The following are not allowed to be brought into the park:

  • Alcohol or other drinks, these are available on site
  • Food, this is available on site
  • Illegal substances
  • Weapons, including imitation weapons
  • Head masks, hoods, or any item which disguises the face
  • Cameras or audio recording equipment
  • Bags, other than very small handbags
  • Naked flames, including lighters
  • Puffer/quilted clothing

While inside the park you must not:

  • Touch the scareactors or sets inside the attractions
  • Chew gum
  • Run
  • Eat or drink inside any of the attractions
  • Smoke, except in designated smoking areas
  • Attempt to record any aspect of the attractions by any means
  • Use your mobile telephone inside the attractions, these must be switched off
  • Turn on any form of light, including laser pointers, glowsticks, torches or mobile phone lights

We will refuse admission and not refund you if:

  • You appear to be under the influence of alcohol or any other substance
  • Your behaviour is perceived as threatening

Guests aged under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a responsible adult (aged over 18) at all times, on a ratio of not less than 1 adult per 10 under 16 year olds. Proof of age will be requested.

The scareactors may make physical contact with your arms, shoulders, lower legs or the top of your head without malice. You must not touch them, ever, they will not harm you.

If you lose anything during your visit, we will not be able to conduct a search for it until the following day. Anything bought into the park is at your own risk and we will not be held liable for any loss.

There are no ‘escape’ points inside the attractions. Once you enter an attraction you will not be able to exit until the end.

Inside the attractions you must walk forwards at all times, with both hands on the shoulders or waist of the person in front of you, unless you are the leader. You must not stop or move backwards unless instructed to do so by the scareactors.

We advise you to wear appropriate footwear and clothing while visiting the park, we will not be held liable for any damage to clothing or footwear if you have made contact with the set, or not followed any of our terms and conditions of entry.

Your admission ticket is only valid for the time slot you have booked, it is not transferable once purchased.

You must arrive at least 10 minutes before your allotted time of entry, please do not arrive more than 20 minutes before your entry time.

Scare Kingdom Scream Park Ltd. will endeavour to ensure that all advertised features of the park are available. We may, however, without prior notice and without refund or compensation, cancel or suspend any feature of the park due to inclement weather, to ensure safety, security or order, or if we consider that the circumstances so require.

Images and photography used in the promotion of Scare Kingdom Scream Park are not contractural, exact sets and characters may differ from those shown.

Entry to Psychomenteum is not included in the general park admission, and will incur an additional admission price per body of £5.00. Guests must be aged 18 or over and may be asked to show proof of identity and age. Guests must abide by an additional set of terms and conditions displayed outside the attraction.

By buying a ticket to the park you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, and entry is at your own risk.

We reserve the right to remove you from the park if you do not follow our terms and conditions of admission, without refund.
